Haste The Day has released their first new content in nearly a decade
with their newest music video "Burn" that opens up with the sounds
of riffs and drums leading us into the screams of
frontman Stephen Keech
Stephen Keech who joined Haste The Day in 2007 after the departure of Jimmy Ryan stated that
“We wrote ‘Burn‘ to be a metalcore thrasher with harmonized guitar melodies, an epic chorus,
a crushing breakdown riff, and lyrics about a broken system of justice focused on retaliation
instead of restoration. Being the first song that we’ve released in nine years, we wanted to
put our best foot forward musically but also address an important topic in today’s divided world:
The more we try to tear others down, the more we destroy ourselves.”

Their latest track "Burn" was released under Solid State Records and
there are currently talks about Haste The Day releasing a new album as

Outro
Haste The Day first made their appearance on the scene in 2001 out of Carmel, Indiana
as a three-piece band including: Brennan Chaulk on guitar and vocals, Devin Chaulk on
drums and vocals, and Mike Murphy who took the role of bass and backup vocals.
Three years later they would release their debut full-length album "Burning Bridges"
in 2004 through Solid State Records, which music videos for "American Love"
and "The Closest Thing to Closure" followed the album release.
As a huge fan of the Metalcore inspired band, I first would hear about their sound after
the release of their second studio album "When Everything Falls" that officially dropped
June 28th, 2005 through Solid State Records selling over 40,000 copies by January 2006
and the last album to feature the original vocalist Jimmy Ryan.
