The evening at the Red Flag was full of expansive energy that ignited the room, positive vibes that
brought humans together, and music that would create memories for all who had made the right
choice to be at the concert for that evening.
This expansion would begin as Glory Fell, a metalcore inspired band out of St. Louis,
took the stage with a breathtaking performance setting the pace with their
dope single "The P Is Silent" along with several unreleased tracks
followed by Bad Luck, The Almost, and Emery to close out the night.

Glory Fell continued the night by playing unreleased songs that would fuel the fire
and prepare the audience for the upcoming acts of Bad Luck, The Almost, and Emery.
A takeaway highlight from the opening act was the expressive
"light-up" shoe display that many in the audience wore as
a supportive measure for Glory Fell, which was pretty sweet.

The Almost
Following an incredible performance from Glory Fell was Bad Luck, who continued to rally the crowd for the
anticipated performance of The Almost, who would play their album "Southern Weather"
in its entirety.

"Southern Weather" album by The Almost
"Southern Weather" was originally released in April 2007 and is an overall solid album
to play front to back as the tracks "Say This Sooner", "Drive There Now!",
and "Dirty and Left Out" lead us into the depths of the album.
Supported by the amazing vocals of Aaron Gillespie, The Almost would break out a mellow acoustic session of
"Dirty and Left Out" after their performance of "Say This Sooner",
which an iPhone quality clip of the event can be spun directly on aliencoremuzik below as seen
from my point-of-view.

Emery
As the event drew to an end, Emery would take the stage as the energy was at its maximum potential
to bring the crowd a powerhouse performance of their 2004 album "Weaks End", which
they are currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of its release.
Learn more about Emery
Getting a clip of Emery at the event was difficult as the energy was still so intense from
the previous performances. The Almost honestly sounded incredible especially
after the iginition given from Bad Luck and the incredible opener from
Glory Fell, however, I did manage to snap a photo of the atmosphere so
take it from me — it was badass!

Outro
Gathering myself from the eventful night, and after smashing the rest of my taco salad
obtained prior to the event that I found in the backseat of my car as I left in between
sets... I decided to pick up some merch on my way out to support the atmosphere that I surround myself with as well as a toast to the new friends we
all made throughout evening as the crowd bounced in and out of the pit.
The coolest merch obtained was a sick shirt featuring an alien riding a pizza and an actual signed shoe by the band members of
Glory Fell, which I thought was ironic considering I had actually lost my shoes
in the mosh pit (did someone say winning?)

I couldn't leave without picking up a shirt from The Almost after the performance from
frontman Aaron Gillespie who had such an incredible spirit about him that night and
he honestly seemed to enjoy performing the show for everyone.
