The project originated out of Derbyshire, UK, under the direction of Rick Hayward in early September 2022, and
would soon earn support from a loyal audience that would not only embolden the sounds of Embers Ignite but enhance
upon the growing atmosphere emerging from the talent of the one-man metal project.

Embers Ignite's roots can be identified from the influence from death, thrash, groove, and melodic death metal, which
has created a signature sound as seen above in the first EP released by the band.
As the project further developed, Rick Hayward would continue the fire with the release
of an epic reimagining of Rainbow's classic "Stargazer" three months after the release of his debut EP in June 2023.

As stated by Rick Hayward on Aliencore Muzik, "My favourite part is seeing a song come together! I'm primarily a guitarist
so the riff always comes first and I'll record that then program some drums to give it a feel then add bass.."
Continuing the fire of melodic death groove, Embers Ignite would go on to release a faithful rendition of "Behind Flames", originally
performed by In Flames, in October 2023.

In April of this year, they released a cover of "Paint It Black", originally created and performed
by the Rolling Stones, one of the most iconic rock bands since 1962 and who was responsible for generating an expansive influence in the music industry
that is still recognizable even today.
This cover not only promotes the talent the Rolling Stones brought to the world, but
further reflects of the rising talent of Embers Ignite, who took an iconic vibe created
by the Rolling Stones and then added a few dashes of melodic death groove.
