Glory Fell has been making power moves this year with moments such as their crowd energizing performance
this past May at the Red Flag featuring Emery, The Almost, and Bad Luck, and with their explosive album
release of "Season's Grievings" that has quickly become a fan favorite on Threads with positive reviews in the
hundreds and with the album itself moving towards 50k streams on Spotify.
I personally had the opportunity to see these guys live last May at the Red Flag, St. Louis, and
from a first-hand account, Glory Fell is an absolute unit of a Metalcore inspired band that I
highly recommend checking out. They have an all-around positive atmosphere, love meeting fans of their music,
and are here for a good time and to enjoy the moments they are creating for everyone.

Originating out of St. Louis, MO, as the undefeated champions of Super Smash Bros., they can be
described as a group of friends who decided to elevate their lifestyle by forming a really sick band.
Currently, the lead guitarist and vocalist live in areas outside the St. Louis area, but their dedication
for their music and their friendship has allowed them to overcome the distance between their living environments
to record, mix, master, and produce their music.
Valuing the dynamics of their connection with music creation, these guys have been invigorating the
scene with the taste of melodics mixed with brutality creating the perfect recipe — as if they knew exactly
when to hop off the burner — Glory Fell has arrived at your door step ready to serve
you and your people with a full course of bleghhh!

One of my favorite aspects of the Glory Fell vibe comes from their event this past May
where I was lucky enough to snap a photo of the crowd wearing light-up shoes in support of the band.
This was literally the dopeness and added a significant element to the energy of their performance.
Seeing so many in the crowd excited to hear Glory Fell would be a catalyst leading me to having
an incredible experience where I actually got to meet a few amazing folks from Threads!

Season's Grievings
Looking further into their debut album release of "Season's Grievings", we can
immediately find several elements that are reminscent of a Metalcore vibe that
is slowly finding its way back into the scene. The album kicks off with
"You Asked For An Intro", an intro that not only sparks curiosity
of what lies ahead, but establishes a base to build our vessel that will take
us through the rest of the album.
As the intro fades, the listener is brought into the pathway of
"Pools are Perfect for Holding Water", "Silence is Golden", and
their highly praised stand out single "The P Is Silent", which
has been generating an immense amount of interest within the community
in 2024 as well as acted as a foundational track to learn more
about Glory Fell.
One of the most crucial elements of "Season's Grievings" is that it plays
out like a story that can be listened to from front to back.
"It's Over, Mannequin!" finally arrives with a smooth vocalization in the beginning
that suddenly changes tune as you're smacked with the crushing vocals, tasty guitar riffs,
and let's not forget the br00tal breakdowns such as seen at the 3-minute mark.
Glory Fell - "It's Over, Mannequin!"
If you've made it this far, then you're going to love the rest of the album including "Mana Burn"
followed by an explosive "Propostraphe-S" that Glory Fell performed live this past May
during their opener for Emery, and is also the song I lost my shoes to during their concert
while inside the pit 2 stepping. (I found them later)
After an incredible voyage through the album, we arrive at the
ending tracks of the album with "Ready, OK!" that begins as a build-up
with the snare popping and the riffs leading into the thrashing vocals that are guaranteed
to make you feel cozy inside, and "Season's Grievings" that leads us out of the album
and back into reality.
Outro
Glory Fell has been a wrecking ball when it comes to making moves
forward, overcoming obstacles, and establishing themselves as a
major player on the scene. As the days move along, we can expect
a lot more from Glory Fell as they continue to tear up the landscape and
continue building their foundation as a band.
While we celebrate the rest of October, and get spooky for Halloween, don't forget to prepare
for the upcoming event on November 16th at The Red Flag, St. Louis, featuring SSX, Into Eden,
James Tyler & The Usual Crowd, and Glory Fell as the headliner to bring us the album release
of "Season's Grievings".
